DPD UK, a £2 billion industry leader aiming to be the UK's most sustainable premium delivery carrier, is seeking high-energy Warehouse Operatives to join our Basingstoke team. This fast-paced, physical role puts you on your feet all shift as the backbone of our operation.

Your day-to-day involves loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy, handling items up to 25kg. You'll use our technology systems to ensure every parcel reaches the right place at the right time, operating scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely.

You'll work collaboratively with a close-knit, supportive team to meet daily targets and shift objectives, maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping. Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPE are provided.

Requirements

Ability to work a night shift schedule (Sunday–Thursday, 01:30 start)

Responsibilities

Load, unload, scan, and sort parcels with precision and accuracy
Handle items up to 25kg while staying on your feet all shift
Use technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
Operate warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
Conduct quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling, reporting discrepancies or damaged items to your supervisor promptly
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
Adhere to attendance expectations and maintain reliability throughout your shift
