Axalta is seeking a Driver and Warehouse Assistant to support daily delivery and order picking operations across customer locations. This role ensures timely deliveries and maintains accurate inventory through careful documentation. The position involves driving, unloading incoming shipments, and practicing FIFO inventory management.

Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering goods, ensuring delivery notes are signed and stamped by customers, and verifying that physical quantities match documentation. The Driver and Warehouse Assistant practices FIFO when picking goods and highlights any batch issues to the operation team. They also assist with incoming shipments by unstuffing and stacking containers.

The role works closely with the Operations and Customer Service teams to coordinate daily logistics. Axalta operates a global coatings business serving multiple end markets across North America, EMEA, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. This collaborative environment ensures smooth supply chain operations as the company coats 30 million vehicles per year and delivers solutions in over 140 countries.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license for operating delivery vehicles
  • Ability to lift and stack heavy items with physical stamina
  • Attention to detail for verifying quantities and documentation
  • Basic numeracy to tally delivery notes accurately
  • Familiarity with FIFO inventory principles
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with operations and customer service teams

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily deliveries to all customer locations on time
  • Ensure all delivery notes are signed and stamped by end customers
  • Verify that physical quantities match delivery note quantities
  • Practice FIFO when picking goods for delivery and highlight any batch issues to the Operation Team
  • Assist with incoming shipments including unstuffing and stacking
  • Work closely with Operations and Customer Service teams for daily operations
