The Warehousing & Logistics Manager plays a pivotal role at Air Liquide Advanced Materials, collaborating with order management, planning, production, quality, and affiliates to ensure high customer satisfaction. This position nurtures a smooth supply chain through material management, flow optimization, cost mindfulness, inventory care, and regulatory compliance. It supports innovation in electronics like micro-processors and photovoltaic cells.

Daily responsibilities include overseeing order and shipment status, inventory management, warehouse capacity, 3PL performance, and order fulfillment rates for operational harmony. Guide facility layout design and SAP system integration using lean, six sigma, and engineering methodologies. Ensure adherence to safety regulations, SOPs, IATA, IMDG, and import/export trade compliance for chemicals in inventory.

Work closely with planning and production teams to enhance operations and achieve shared cost savings. Support and develop a team of logistics and warehouse personnel through SOPs, training certifications, and cross-functional coordination. Foster seamless operations in ALAM facilities and third-party warehouses.

Conduct thorough analysis of warehouse processes to identify growth opportunities and implement strategies for efficiency, sustainability, and productivity. Optimize layout, material flow, and inventory to minimize bottlenecks and maximize throughput. Think critically to respond to supply disruptions and safety events, pioneering supply expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering
  • Experience developing and optimizing warehouse processes and material flow
  • Knowledge of lean, six sigma, and engineering methodologies for facility design and system integration
  • Proficiency with SAP for inventory and operations management
  • Familiarity with IATA, IMDG, import/export trade compliance, and chemical handling regulations
  • Ability to oversee 3PL performance and manage supply chain risks
  • Skills in team development through training and SOP implementation

  • Oversee daily order/shipment status, inventory management, warehouse capacity, 3PL performance, and order fulfillment rates
  • Collaborate with planning and production teams to enhance operations capabilities and shared cost savings
  • Ensure regulatory/trade compliance, risk mitigation of supply chain disruptions, and adherence to safety regulations and SOPs including IATA, IMDG, and import/export
  • Support and develop a team of logistics and warehouse personnel through SOPs, training certifications, and cross-functional coordination
  • Conduct thorough analysis of warehouse processes, workflows, and systems to discover opportunities for growth
