About this role
At Venture, we help clients deliver their products, promises, and potential every day. The Supply Chain Coordinator coordinates all department processes and functions. It provides management visibility via tracking, process oversight, auditing, researching, and troubleshooting operational issues.
Track shipments to ensure deadlines are met, working with suppliers and carriers to correct issues. Timely communicate and document critical information to internal associates and customers. Identify cost savings opportunities for the customer.
Reconcile inventory and material flow through warehouse or cross dock. Generate reports and analyze order and inventory data. Investigate and resolve discrepancies, uploading correct information to systems and user communities.
Interact with vendors and suppliers on behalf of the customer for network efficiency. Refer to financial and operational standards for decisions impacting delivery dates and customer requirements. Operate multiple company and customer transportation management and inventory systems.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of Transportation Management experience preferred, with a focus on shipment coordination
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Customer Service, Multi-tasking, and Organizational Skills
- Excellent time management, verbal & written communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience using office tools such as MS Office or Google Suite
- Advanced computer skills including Excel and Outlook required
Responsibilities
