As a Night Warehouse Worker you deliver warehouse support that keeps specialty proteins, produce, and broadline products moving efficiently to more than 50,000 customers.

Each shift begins with reading production schedules, customer orders, and shipping documents to identify items for movement. You operate electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts, ascend cherry pickers to 25 feet in a safety harness, and sort product by SKU, quantity, and type before staging orders for shipping.

You coordinate daily with Receivers, Drivers, and Forklift Operators while following strict safety practices during truck and trailer movements. The fast-paced environment demands proper handling of company-issued PPE and voice equipment plus immediate reporting of any safety concerns.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training.
Ability to use electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift.
Ability to frequently ascend 25 feet on cherry picker in a safety harness.
Willingness to wear company-issued uniform and properly handle all issued PPE and voice equipment.

Responsibilities

Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
Sort and break down product by SKU, quantity, and product type.
Operate electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift to transport goods throughout the warehouse.
Ascend 25 feet on cherry picker while secured in a safety harness to retrieve or place product.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or move them to the loading dock.
Label pallets with identifying information and open bales, crates, and other containers as needed.
Adhere to proper safety practices for truck and trailer pull process on a daily basis.
