About this role
A well-established player in the transport and logistics industry is looking for an experienced Transport Manager to oversee national operations and lead a growing team. This role involves managing and optimizing transport operations across the board.
Day-to-day duties include route planning, subcontractor fleet allocation, cost control, and supervising LTL processes for safe and efficient cargo space usage. You will coordinate customs-related shipments with agencies and ensure effective use and maintenance of contract vehicles.
Lead and motivate your team by delegating tasks and fostering strong performance. Build long-term relationships with subcontractors, negotiate with contractors, and collaborate with sales and international forwarding teams.

Requirements
- Higher education in economics, transport, logistics, business management, or engineering
- Several years of experience in logistics/transport management, including at least 2 years in team leadership
- Strong knowledge of the forwarding industry and Polish distribution networks
- Proven ability in budgeting, problem-solving, and decision-making under pressure
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Good knowledge of transport IT systems (TMS, telematics)
- Initiative, reliability, and attention to detail
- English proficiency is an advantage
