About this role

Responsible for planning, analyzing, and performing day-to-day supply chain activities. This position assists in executing and achieving plant inventory targets, KPIs, and purchase order analysis for direct and indirect orders. Relies on experience, judgment, and analysis in forecasting, supply chain, and inventory control.

Works with plant purchasing team to ensure inventories are supplied timely and at proper stock levels. Receives production schedules from plant planning team and performs detailed analysis to determine supply variances. Prepares analysis results into meaningful documentation and presentation material.

Reports on supply chain KPIs and tracks exceptions while maintaining key data sets like low inventory warnings, on-time delivery, and purchase order cost history. Performs SAP functions including reviewing inventory reports and root-cause analysis for discrepancies. Collaborates with broad range of partners in a manufacturing environment.

Assembles data to analyze performance, identify problems, and develop recommendations enhancing purchasing operations. Performs special projects as assigned. Ensures compliance to company Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • 1 year of experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare related industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain and inventory practices with familiarity in manufacturing environment desired

Responsibilities

  • Maintain tracking of key data sets including low inventory warning report, on-time delivery of orders, purchase order cost history, and other KPIs
  • Perform necessary functions within SAP including reviewing inventory reports, ensuring inventory accuracy, and root-cause analysis for discrepancies
  • Perform special projects as assigned

Benefits

  • Salary range: $70,000 to $80,000 per year dependent upon education and experience
