C+E HGV Driver

apetito is the UK's leading supplier of food and catering solutions to care homes, local authorities and hospitals. Our drivers are the key link between our business and customers, ensuring work is delivered professionally and on time. As a C+E HGV Driver, you will be at the heart of this supply chain.

This role is full time yard shunting, with occasional shunting to our Trowbridge facility and trunking to outbase locations. You will undertake pre and post trip vehicle inspections, ensure compliance with drivers' hours and tachograph regulations, and maintain a clean vehicle internally and externally. You will also supervise loading activities at cross dock sites.

You'll join a growing and forward thinking business as an ambassador, delivering frozen food product to Care Homes, Local Authorities, Hospitals and Wiltshire Farm Foods franchisees. Our main base is Portbury near Bristol with outbase depots in Stanmore, Gillingham, South Kirkby, St Helens and Motherwell.

The transport and distribution area is critically important to apetito's supply chain. As a professional driver, you have a chance to be the face of the company, providing fantastic customer service while managing a demanding delivery schedule.
