About this role

As a Procurement Manager at moomoo, you will oversee procurement processes for business operations in Japan, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining cost efficiency. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to align purchasing activities with company goals.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing procurement strategies for the Japanese market, identifying and selecting suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capability. You will negotiate contracts and terms, monitor supplier performance, and manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstock.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement activities support business objectives and comply with company policies and regulations. The role requires strong negotiation and communication skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Japanese and English (both verbal and written)
  • Practical experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends in Japan
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
