About this role

Our continued expansion means we need further people to join our stock team to support our warehouse operation. You will be part of the team which tracks and manages the flow of stock to ensure products are always available to be picked by Warehouse Operative colleagues.

The stock team count and check stock, investigating variances and finding solutions to issues. You will carry out stock counts within the Coldstore at -22/25 degrees, performing general stock checks and audits to ensure quality standards are followed.

You will be provided all the PPE to keep you warm and safe in the freezer. The warehouse runs at -22/25 degrees, and you will spend some of your time there, liaising with Team Leaders and Drivers to achieve stock routines and set KPIs.

Requirements

Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment.
Willingness to utilize or gain computer skills, in particular using SAP.
High level of numeracy.
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent standard in Maths and English at a grade C.
Able to demonstrate commitment and stability.
Flexible, good attendance and timekeeping.
Multi-skilled or willing to become multi-skilled.
Driving licence and access to own transport essential due to location.

Responsibilities

Carrying out stock counts within the Coldstore at -22/25 degrees.
Performing general stock checks and audits, ensuring quality standards are followed.
Stock variance investigation and processing adjustments.
Updating stock information on SAP and performing regular cycle counts.
Checking incoming goods and organizing returns of damages.
Dealing with miscellaneous or problem stock.
Liaising with warehouse team members to achieve stock routines and KPIs.
Supporting general warehouse duties including picking and loading.
