For our site in Kleve, we are seeking a Customs Declarant. You will handle export customs declarations for our own products and coordinate import declarations with external service providers for smooth clearance. Process documents like commercial invoices and delivery notes while ensuring correct customs clearance of goods.

Monitor deadlines and customs procedures to stay current, serving as the contact person for operational customs processes internally and externally. Leverage experience with origin certificates such as COO, ATR, and the REX program. Enjoy room for independent work to actively shape and continuously improve customs processes.

Requirements

  • Completed training in customs, logistics, or similar qualification
  • In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and experience with customs systems and software (e.g., ATLAS; AEB a plus)
  • Fluent in spoken and written German and English
  • Work independently while keeping the big picture in view
  • Team player with structured, solution-oriented work style
