The Driver and Warehouse Operative supports the smooth running of regional logistics operations at The Air Ambulance Service Chesterfield Hub. This purpose-driven role helps keep lifesaving operations moving by managing stock and donated goods.

Daily work involves the collection and delivery of stock, furniture, and donated goods along with safe handling and processing of items inside the warehouse. The position is active and customer-facing with a strong focus on professionalism and attention to detail.

Requirements

Full UK driving licence
Comfortable with regular manual handling of heavy and bulky items
Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery environment
Knowledge of safe loading, unloading, and goods movement practices
Understanding of geographical working area
Ability to prioritise workload and complete delivery records or stock sheets
Strong team player, clear communicator, and self-motivated contributor
Conscientious, reliable, and attentive to detail

Responsibilities

Complete delivery records, stock sheets, and basic admin tasks
Load and unload goods following safe movement practices
