About this role

At Asda, as a Customer Delivery Driver in the store team, you’ll be at the heart of the customer experience. You’ll serve with heart and pride while delivering products right to the customer’s front door with a smile.

Whether loading your van or delivering to regular customers, you play a vital role in the smooth running of the operation. When not on the road, you make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery.

When the store is really busy, you’ll be asked to help the team by picking and packing online orders. You’ll receive full training so you can handle all aspects of the role confidently.

You’ll work a part-time permanent contract of 22.5 hours per week on a days shift pattern that includes weekends and evenings.

Requirements

Valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) held for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points
Friendly and helpful approach to customer service
Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment
Flexibility to work a range of shifts including weekends and evenings

Responsibilities

Load the van and deliver products right to the customer’s front door with a smile
Deliver to regular customers while serving with heart and pride
Keep the van clean and fit for the next delivery after each shift
Help the team by picking and packing online orders during busy periods
Follow all training provided to maintain safe and reliable deliveries
