Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
One to three months of related warehouse experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to operate electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts safely.
Capability to frequently ascend 25 feet on a cherry picker using a safety harness.
Understanding of proper safety practices for truck and trailer pull processes.
Ability to communicate effectively with receivers, drivers, and forklift operators.

Responsibilities

Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, or shipping orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
Sort and break down product by SKU, quantity, and product type.
Operate electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts to move products.
Ascend up to 25 feet on a cherry picker using a safety harness.
Communicate effectively with receivers, drivers, driver check-in, and forklift operators.
Adhere to proper safety practices for truck and trailer pull processes daily.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or move orders to loading dock for shipping.
