About this role
At McLaren Racing, chasing performance in everything delivers success on track and in the factory. As Stock Transfer and Archiving Coordinator, support the operational move-in phase of stock items into the Brooklands offsite storage facility. Maintain safe, organized, and cost-effective storage of assets including Heritage items, car parts, assemblies, and equipment.
Carry out stock checks to confirm quantities of items entering the facility and ensure every item is accurately logged in the Checkroom system for full traceability. Support archiving, culling, and rationalisation of parts per agreed strategies while condensing stock to meet Heritage and Commercial needs. Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely in line with training and site rules.
Adhere to company policies, health and safety requirements, and site procedures while supporting lead contacts in Commercial and Heritage. Work in a high-performance environment focused on data accuracy and operational efficiency. Contribute to continuous improvement through layout optimisation, process definition, and data quality enhancements.

Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a warehouse, logistics or stores environment, and with high value or sensitive stock
- Forklift licence (counterbalance and/or reach) or willingness to be trained and certified
- Practical knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping and stock control
- Previous Checkroom operating system experience is a distinct advantage
- Basic IT skills with the ability to use inventory or warehouse management systems
- Good understanding of health & safety requirements in a warehouse environment
- Knowledge of Heritage car parts, assemblies and their handling requirements
- Ability to recognise part condition, packaging standards and storage constraints
Responsibilities
- Carry out stock checks and confirm quantities of all items entering the Brooklands facility
- Ensure every item is accurately logged and fully traceable within the Checkroom system
- Support the archiving, culling and rationalisation of parts and assemblies in line with agreed strategies
- Condense and optimise stock to align with Heritage asset needs and Commercial requirements
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and in line with training and site rules
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including layout optimisation, process definition and data quality improvements
- Adhere to all company policies, health & safety requirements and site procedures
