We seek a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate reporting to the Operations Manager. This role involves driving deliveries, stocking products, and warehouse duties in a competitive environment.

Daily tasks include operating handheld units to label products and hand-selecting orders in non-temperature controlled, temperature controlled, and bonded areas. Stack products on pallets following procedures like avoiding heavy on light and ensuring labels face out. Use electric pallet jack or forklift to transport and stage pallets for loading, then shrink-wrap on the dock.

On delivery routes, check load accuracy and stability before transporting to assigned accounts. Merchandise, display, and rotate products per company standards, while invoicing, collecting payments, and settling accounts daily. Pick up company property and secure assets while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Positive attitude and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive environment
  • Proficiency in operating electric pallet jack and forklift
  • Skill in safe handling and stacking of products including heavy items
  • Attention to detail for accurate labeling, selecting, and loading
  • Knowledge of temperature-controlled and bonded warehouse procedures
  • Compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory policies
  • Ability to perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned handheld unit to create and correctly place labels on products
  • Hand-select orders within various warehouse environments including non-temperature controlled, temperature controlled, and bonded areas
  • Stack products on pallets following proper procedures such as not stacking heavy on light and labels facing out
  • Operate electric pallet jack or forklift to transport products
  • Stage selected pallets for loading at proper dock locations and shrink-wrap products
  • Check accuracy and stability of loads and deliver products to customers
  • Merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards
  • Invoice and collect monies due, settle accounts daily, and ensure compliance with policies
