NEFCO is a construction supply company that supports contractors by serving as the channel uniting them with needed products. The Warehouse Logistics Lead / Delivery Driver provides exceptional service through timely local deliveries to commercial construction sites and home offices. We are always there when they need us, building together.

Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicle, equipment, paperwork, and loaded product before making deliveries. Load inventory on the truck and unload at customer job sites while maintaining accuracy. Ensure manifests are complete and check in with customers via company technology upon arrival.

Maintain a neat, safe, and organized work environment while working Monday-Friday starting at 5am. Home every night and weekend in a role focused on various climate conditions. Communicate from the field with dispatcher, customer service, and branch logistics.

Requirements

  • At least 23 years of age
  • Experience driving non-CDL commercial vehicles of at least 24’ and 26’ in length
  • 2-5 years driving experience with commercial vehicles
  • CDL preferred, but not required
  • Possess a current, valid Medical Card
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Make deliveries to customer job sites and home offices with a company vehicle
  • Load inventory on truck and unload at customer job site while maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Maintain a neat, safe, and organized work environment
  • Ensure manifests are complete and accurate
  • Provide timely, accurate, and courteous customer service
  • Check in with customer via company technology at each designated account
  • Communicate from the field with the dispatcher, customer service, and branch logistics
