We are currently looking for a Strategic Procurement Manager to serve as a trusted partner guiding internal business partners through the entire end-to-end procurement lifecycle.

In this role, you will proactively engage with cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Infosec, IT, and FP&A to preemptively identify and address technical, financial, and risk-related requirements. You will manage multiple business unit and vendor engagements simultaneously across diverse indirect spend categories.

You will collaborate with business partners and the Procurement team to develop, enhance, and execute category strategies, while supporting sourcing initiatives such as RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations. You will also maintain vendor relationships, manage contract renewals, and monitor supplier performance.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of procurement and cutting-edge AI technology, driving continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement organization. You will help shape how RingCentral sources and manages its indirect spend in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in the software category or technology domain.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Basic proficiency and demonstrable experience with fundamental contractual terms and commercial agreements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace; experience with procurement tools (e.g., NetSuite), financial planning/ERP systems (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle), or project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, FreshService, SharePoint) is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrable experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance procurement efficiency and insights is a great plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the trusted partner and primary point of contact for internal business partners, guiding them through the entire end-to-end procurement lifecycle from initial need identification through vendor selection and contract execution.
  • Proactively engage and partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Infosec, IT, and FP&A to address technical, financial, and risk-related requirements.
  • Manage multiple business unit and vendor engagements and high-volume procurement activities simultaneously across diverse indirect spend categories.
  • Collaborate with business partners and Procurement team members to develop, enhance, and execute category strategies.
  • Support sourcing initiatives including RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, manage contract renewals, and monitor supplier performance where applicable.
  • Work closely with Legal, Finance, and IT teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct market and supplier research to stay current on trends and benchmark pricing.
