About this role

Cavalier Distributing is looking for a passionate and self-starting individual to join the Operations team as a Warehouse Associate and Driver at the Blue Ash facility. As one of the few U.S. distributors focused exclusively on specialty imports and American craft beers, the company serves as Ohio’s premier craft beverage distributor.


This first-shift position runs Monday through Friday from approximately 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The role combines daily warehouse operations with occasional driving to deliver the portfolio to customers across the city.


In addition to warehouse duties, the position requires safe product handling, effective communication, and an active work style. The company maintains a customer-focused, fast-paced environment that values safety and accuracy.


Full-time benefits begin after 60 days and include a unique Reimbursement Program for Craft Beverage Purchases. The role offers the chance to work within a specialized distributor serving craft beverage enthusiasts.

Requirements

  • Valid, unexpired driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Thorough understanding of traffic laws and commitment to defensive driving.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, and man lift.
  • Ability to efficiently load, unload, and maneuver product weighing 30 to 165 pounds.
  • Basic numerical skills for order and delivery paperwork.
  • Willingness to take and pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in ongoing physical inventory and monitor stock levels to maintain adequate supply.
  • Receive, log, and unload incoming freight shipments while verifying against invoice and purchase order.
  • Operate forklift, pallet jack, and man lift to handle truck loading and receiving efficiently.
  • Utilize computerized Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory tracking.
  • Stack, wrap, and label pallets before staging for loading and conduct quality checks during picking.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report safety issues immediately.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and execute cash management duties with integrity.
  • Provide exceptional customer relations while operating vehicles safely and adhering to DOT regulations.
