About this role

HireRight is the industry's preeminent background screening company, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with offices globally. The Sourcing Manager role is an individual contributor responsible for leading strategic sourcing activities across APAC and owning sourcing strategy for selected global categories and contracts.

This role conducts market research, supplier evaluations, and competitive bidding (RFI/RFP) to develop sourcing recommendations that optimize cost, quality, service, and risk. Day-to-day responsibilities include negotiating pricing, SLAs, commercial terms, and contract structures, as well as ensuring APAC sourcing activities comply with global procurement policies and governance standards.

The Sourcing Manager collaborates closely with APAC business units to understand outsourcing and purchasing needs, builds strong relationships with Finance, Legal, IT, and operational teams, and supports budgeting, forecasting, and spend visibility initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to drive commercial value and operational efficiency across a global organization while managing contract lifecycles, identifying cost savings and process improvements, and utilizing Procure-to-Pay systems like Dynamics 365 and contract management tools like Tropic.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of sourcing or procurement experience, ideally in B2B or professional services
  • Experience managing regional sourcing or global contracts preferred
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Experience with P2P systems and contract management platforms (Dynamics 365 and Tropic preferred)
  • Familiarity with GDPR requirements and data-protection considerations in supplier contracting
  • Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, building procurement trackers, renewal calendars, and spend dashboards

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional sourcing strategy for APAC across assigned categories
  • Own sourcing strategy for selected global contracts and support global category initiatives
  • Conduct market research, supplier evaluations, and competitive bidding (RFI/RFP)
  • Develop sourcing recommendations that optimize cost, quality, service, and risk
  • Negotiate pricing, SLAs, commercial terms, and contract structures
  • Ensure APAC sourcing activities comply with global procurement policies, internal controls, and risk frameworks
  • Collaborate with APAC business units to understand outsourcing and purchasing needs
  • Maintain a centralized contract inventory and ensure timely renewals
