About this role
Join Culina Group's specialist events logistics team as an experienced HGV Driver supporting high-profile Formula 1 events across Europe and international flyaways. This fast-paced role involves transporting high-value cargo and working away from home for up to 14 consecutive weeks. Enjoy travel, teamwork, hands-on work, and world-class event operations.
Drive HGV vehicles carrying specialist event equipment across UK and European locations while ensuring vehicles and trailers are safe, compliant, and roadworthy. Assist with loading, unloading, and securing cargo to the highest standard during each event. Participate in trackside setup including construction of race bases, hospitality units, and tyre fitting.
Mark out build areas, lay and level grids, install structural components, and handle cleaning, maintenance, and interior setup of furniture and décor. During events, support hospitality operations with customer service, cleaning, kitchen assistance, and front-of-house tasks. Maintain high standards through flexible work to meet changing schedules and requirements.
Dismantle units and structures for pack down, assist with lifting, loading, and securing equipment and trailers. Keep trucks immaculate inside and out throughout the year. This unique role combines HGV driving with international travel and Formula 1 logistics for a dynamic alternative to standard transport work.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 HGV licence with minimum 12 months experience
- Flexibility to work away for up to 14 consecutive weeks
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Great work ethic with high standards of professionalism, proactive and independent thinking and good attention to detail
- Willingness to take on varied tasks including construction, hospitality, and maintenance
- Additional skills beneficial: Trades (Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical), Engineering, Building, Rigging, Forklift/Telehandler, Tyre Fitting
- Experience of driving in Europe and driving LHD units advantageous
Responsibilities

- Dismantle units and structures to prepare all equipment for transport
Benefits
- £125 day rate on shift
- £100 day rate on rest day
- £47 daily allowance (night out, meal and overseas tax-free) whilst on Event for working and rest days in Europe and Worldwide
- £40 daily allowance (night out and meal tax-free) whilst undertaking Event work
