About this role
BlueSky Utility/Nofar USA is seeking a highly capable and proactive Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, logistics, vendor management, and material planning across a growing portfolio of solar and energy storage projects. This role is critical to ensuring equipment, materials, and services are sourced strategically, delivered on time, and managed cost-effectively to support nationwide project execution. The ideal candidate is hands-on, commercially sharp, operationally disciplined, and experienced in complex supply chains within the power generation industry, including solar and BESS.
Lead sourcing and procurement of major equipment such as solar modules, inverters, transformers, BESS equipment, trackers, racking, and balance-of-plant materials. Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, warranties, and commercial terms with vendors, suppliers, and EPC contractors responsible for turn-key projects. Monitor market conditions, tariffs, pricing trends, and supply constraints impacting solar and storage sectors while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Oversee transportation, warehousing, delivery schedules for domestic and international shipments, and coordinate material flow to multiple project sites across states. Track inventory levels, shortages, overages, and critical path items while implementing systems for receiving, storage, and field controls. Partner closely with Engineering, Project Delivery, Construction, Finance, and Development teams to align procurement with project schedules, budgets, and milestones.
Manage supplier scorecards, KPIs, service levels, and resolve delivery delays, quality concerns, claims, shortages, and disputes. Develop mitigation plans for supply disruptions and long lead equipment. Establish scalable procurement and supply chain processes, improve reporting, spend visibility, forecasting, internal controls, and utilize ERP, procurement, and project management systems to drive efficiency as the company grows.
Requirements
- 7+ years of supply chain, procurement, or sourcing leadership experience
- Experience supporting power generation companies
- Strong contract negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced growth environment
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- Willingness to work hybrid in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Hands-on experience managing complex supply chains in solar and BESS
Responsibilities
