About this role

As a Warehouse Operative at Argos, you will be part of a market-leading delivery service that stores, stacks, and shifts over 60,000 products, including items up to 25kg. Your primary role is to help organize deliveries by placing items in their correct locations within the warehouse.

You will receive order locations via a headset and accurately pick and pack items for our drivers to deliver to customers. This fast-paced environment requires good physical stamina, as you will be on your feet throughout your shift.

You will work alongside a supportive team with friendly colleagues who help you get into the rhythm of the job. The role offers the chance to take ownership of your tasks while collaborating effectively with others to meet customer needs.

Working in our Local Fulfilment Centres, you become part of a large national network that delivers Argos products to customers' front doors or preferred collection points. This role provides an opportunity to develop skills in a dynamic logistics environment with a leading retailer.

Requirements

Good physical stamina for a lively, fast-paced environment
Ability to take ownership and work autonomously
Capability to work effectively within a team
Comfortable using digital tools and technology
Use initiative and show care for customers' needs
Must be above the school-leaver age in your country
Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK

Responsibilities

Store, stack, and shift items up to 25kg within the warehouse
Organize deliveries by placing items in their correct locations
Receive order locations via headset and accurately pick and pack items
Prepare orders for drivers to deliver to customers
Work autonomously and take ownership of assigned tasks
Collaborate with a supportive team to meet daily targets
Use digital tools and technology to perform job tasks efficiently
Ensure customers receive exactly what they ordered for a brilliant experience
