Delivery Driver - Part-Time

The primary job of a Flowerama delivery driver is to deliver flowers and gifts to designated recipients in a safe, smart, and timely manner. Drivers serve as store ambassadors in a trademarked van, upholding the mission of friendly, efficient, organized service. They deliver all products with pride and respect.

Maintain van cleanliness inside and out, keep the gas tank filled, and ensure fluids are topped off while completing the maintenance log. Lift and transport up to 60 pounds unassisted, working in temperatures as low as 32°F in walk-in coolers and handling seasonal weather fluctuations. Process delivery tickets, call tags, check-in freight, inventory, and stock it.

Respect co-workers and management, adhering to all Flowerama policies from the handbook or as instructed. Maintain a neat appearance consistent with the dress code policy, wearing provided logo apparel like shirts, jackets, or hats. Demonstrate a strong command of English, write legibly, and follow all traffic laws including Iowa vehicle rules.

Exhibit efficiency, excellent customer service skills, and a positive attitude with positive interactions for recipients and the public. Timely communicate any issues to a manager or supervisor. Complete any other tasks as required by management, never smoking in the vehicle or texting while driving.
