Join the Procurement Team in Grenoble for a 9-month fixed-term contract replacing parental leave. Focus on sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts for optimal price, quality, delivery and EHS. Monitor market trends and geopolitics to drive cost savings and conduct analyses.

Build resilient supply chains by managing supplier relationships, performance reviews and strategies for uninterrupted deliveries. Collaborate with engineering, production and quality teams to align procurement with business goals. Ensure compliance, sustainability and ethical sourcing per Verkor's Code of Conduct.

Contribute to building the world’s most modern Gigafactory in Dunkirk, targeting 16 GWh production by 2025 for 300,000 electric vehicles. Thrive in an agile international team adapting to challenges. Shape the future of European mobility in this industrial adventure.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the battery or related industries
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of market trends, supplier evaluation, and cost analysis
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Strong organizational and time management skills
High level of integrity and professionalism

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure best terms for price, quality, delivery and EHS
Monitor market trends and geopolitics to identify cost-saving opportunities
Conduct cost analysis and implement cost reduction initiatives
Prepare and present sourcing reviews at tactical and strategic levels, including key performance metrics
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, conduct performance reviews, and manage improvement activities
Define tactics and strategy to ensure uninterrupted deliveries
Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance to align sourcing strategies with business goals
Promote sustainable procurement practices and ensure supplier alignment to Verkor Code of Conduct
