Freenow by Lyft empowers smarter mobility decisions, helping people move freely and cities to thrive. We are looking for a Procurement Manager focused on strategic stakeholder management and advanced negotiations, delivering savings and strong vendor relationships.

The role involves defining the purchasing roadmap with internal stakeholders, negotiating beyond basic practices to deliver maximum value, and analyzing current and future spending. You will establish and maintain positive relationships with key strategic suppliers and represent Freenow in negotiations.

You will work alongside other Procurement Managers covering diverse categories including Tech, Professional Services, Real Estate, and Marketing. As a service provider for the whole group, you will gain cross-functional trust and respect while building expertise for strategic categories.

This highly visible role offers the chance to drive improvement initiatives that optimize costs while ensuring best quality services. You will help design and implement a purchasing system and own strategic business units to drive improvements in products and services.

Requirements

At least 3 years experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or management consulting with a focus on procurement.
Deep negotiation knowledge with the ability to apply advanced negotiation strategies.
Strong analytical capabilities with a proven ability to synthesize complex data sets into actionable procurement insights.
Ability to support multiple annual spend cycles with specific examples of addressable spend identified and savings achieved.
Proven track record of negotiating with partners from a range of European countries, with awareness of procurement practices from different markets.
Confidence to engage in internal discussions and persuade others through strategically communicated arguments.
Solid understanding of processes and the confidence to manage projects and people successfully.
Fluent spoken and written English skills (German is a plus) with strong communication skills and good working knowledge of Google tools and Excel.

Responsibilities

Define the purchasing roadmap with internal stakeholders, supporting both ad-hoc spend over 25K and significant contracts with key vendors.
Negotiate beyond basic negotiation practices to deliver maximum value, even in very difficult negotiation positions.
Analyze current and future spending as well as current purchasing procedures.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with key strategic suppliers.
Represent Freenow by Lyft in supplier negotiations.
Identify and drive improvement initiatives aiming to optimize costs while ensuring best quality services.
Ensure that the procurement process is followed consistently.
Help design and implement a purchasing system.
