About this role

Doka USA Ltd seeks a Project Procurement Manager for large-scale infrastructure and high-rise projects across North America and Latin America. Determine and analyze project procurement requirements for engineered components including metal fabrication, sheet-metal parts, die-cast components, molded parts, wire harnesses, packaging materials, and mechanical/electrical assemblies. Provide guidance to project teams on procurement strategies, supplier capabilities, cost structures, lead times, and technical requirements.

Perform direct project supply-management activities including purchasing, subcontracting, expediting, material coordination, supplier document control, and logistics. Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers in North America and Latin America for commodities such as heavy metal fabrication, sheet-metal fabrication, CNC machining, molding, die casting, and packaging. Conduct RFP/RFQ processes, analyze supplier quotations, perform cost-breakdown and should-cost analyses, and recommend supplier selections.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, commercial terms, stocking agreements, and cost-reduction initiatives with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance using KPIs such as on-time delivery, quality metrics, lead time, and cost performance; perform quarterly supplier reviews. Manage supplier change-control processes including ECNs, deviations, new-process requests, and documentation updates to reduce risk and maintain compliance.

Coordinate with engineering, quality, operations, SQA, QC team, and global procurement managers to ensure alignment with project and business requirements. Support new product introduction activities by coordinating RFQs, reviewing BOMs and engineering drawings. Participate in supplier audits, supplier development, and global sourcing initiatives; local telecommuting permitted up to 4 days per week with travel required.
