About this role

As the Manager of Procurement focused on Corporate Services at Lamb Weston, you will lead strategic sourcing and category management across approximately $80 million in corporate spend, including Marketing, Knowledge & Insights, Benefits, and IT Services. This role is a critical contributor to Procurement, supporting alignment with stakeholders and leadership across the company to accomplish unique business needs.

You will develop and execute sourcing strategies and processes across Lamb Weston's corporate spend while performing deep market analytics and research to provide expertise to the business. Day-to-day, you will analyze business proposals, develop negotiation strategies, and lead contract negotiations to deliver measurable cost savings and value creation.

This role acts as a change agent, advancing procurement capabilities and driving strategic sourcing from a company-wide perspective. You will improve procurement procedures and processes while collaborating with executives and internal stakeholders to elevate Procurement's status as a trusted partner through customer centricity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required; Master's in a business-related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, with a focus on strategic sourcing and category management
  • Proven ability to manage a large book of business (~$80M+) and deliver measurable cost savings and value creation
  • Strong analytical skills with experience performing deep market analytics and research
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute negotiation strategies and lead contract negotiations
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to interface at all levels of the company
  • Experience acting as a change agent and advancing procurement capabilities from a company-wide perspective

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a self-starter with full ownership of assigned categories and ~$80M+ book of business, proactively identifying opportunities, risks, and value creation initiatives
  • Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle management (sourcing, negotiation, execution, and renewals) to ensure commercial, legal, and service optimization
  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies that deliver measurable cost savings, value creation, and risk mitigation across the supplier portfolio
  • Drive independent decision making and prioritize competing business needs while maintaining alignment with the enterprise procurement strategy
  • Establish and manage supplier performance through KPIs, business reviews, and continuous improvement
  • Own financial outcomes for categories, including budget, cost savings, and cost avoidance
  • Collaborate with executives and internal stakeholders to improve procurement strategies and elevate Procurement's status as a trusted partner
  • Consult with Legal to enable efficient and effective contract negotiation and contribute procurement performance and inflationary targets as part of the annual planning cycle
