About this role
Overall responsibility for product availability of assigned core product segments (E-Zug) in the central warehouse. Includes inventory planning, timely order calls or production orders, deadline monitoring, and requesting backorders. Setting planning parameters and optimizing replenishment time/minimum order quantity with suppliers or production plant.
Ensure 98% delivery service (SL1) in fine distribution and supplier/plant delivery service (SSL3), plus inventory range for relevant finished goods. Monitor product availability in central warehouse in Worms and distribution warehouses (LDC) worldwide. Comply with inventory targets and handle excess stock or slow-moving items with Stock Champion and LOPs.
Process daily plans and evaluations using documented processes in PT-AC Management System. Identify and discuss improvements in logistics from supplier to retailer. Analyze key figures, initiate corrective measures, and resolve bottlenecks with suppliers and Procurement logistics colleagues.
Track missing parts/backlogs systematically, plan medium-term with suppliers, and conduct joint problem-solving via visits and meetings. Improve replenishment times, expand safety stocks, and collaborate on contracts. Provide weekly updates on delivery situations in meetings.
