HGV Driver

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Rhondda Cynon Taf to assist with the appointment of an HGV Driver on a 1.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at client's discretion. The role involves safe and efficient operation of heavy goods vehicles to support local authority services. Transports goods, waste, or materials while maintaining high standards.

Daily tasks include operating HGV vehicles in compliance with traffic laws, carrying out vehicle checks, and reporting faults. Ensure timely collection and delivery of goods or materials per schedule. Assist with loading and unloading as required and maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours.

Work independently and as part of a team within a local authority environment focused on service delivery. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and road safety regulations at all times. Contribute to reliable transport operations for community needs.
