Are you an experienced HGV Driver with minimum 12 months looking for a role that goes far beyond what you would normally see? Join our specialist events logistics team supporting high-profile Formula 1 events across Europe, including International Flyaways. This fast-paced role involves travel, teamwork, hands-on work, and world-class event operations.
Transport and deliver high-value cargo across the UK and Europe for the full Formula 1 calendar, working away from home up to 14 consecutive weeks. Drive HGV vehicles carrying specialist event equipment while ensuring vehicles and trailers are safe, compliant, and roadworthy. Assist with loading, unloading, and securing cargo to the highest standard.
Participate in trackside setup including construction of race base, hospitality units, and tyre fitting. Mark out build areas, lay and level grids, install structural components, and handle cleaning, maintenance, and interior setup. During events, support hospitality operations with customer service, cleaning, kitchen assistance, and front-of-house tasks.
At pack down, dismantle units and structures, assist with lifting, loading, and securing equipment for transport. Maintain trucks in immaculate condition inside and out throughout the year. Work flexibly to meet changing event schedules and customer requirements while upholding exceptionally high standards.
This unique chance combines HGV driving with international travel, event logistics, and Formula 1 operations for something more dynamic than standard transport work. Fixed term contract opportunities available with competitive day rates and allowances.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 HGV licence with 12 months minimum experience
- Flexibility to work away for up to 14 consecutive weeks
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Great work ethic with high standards of professionalism, proactive, independent thinking and good attention to detail
- Willingness to take on varied tasks including construction, hospitality, and maintenance
- Additional skills beneficial: Trades (Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical), Engineering, Building, Rigging, Forklift/Telehandler, Tyre Fitting
- Experience of driving in Europe and driving LHD units advantageous
Responsibilities

- Take part in the complete construction of race base, hospitality units and tyre fitting

- Carry out cleaning, maintenance, and interior setup of furniture and décor
- Support hospitality operations including customer service, cleaning and kitchen assistance
- Dismantle units and structures to prepare all equipment for transport

- £125 day rate on shift
- £100 day rate on rest day
- Daily allowance of £47 a day (night out, meal and overseas tax-free allowance) for Europe and Worldwide
- Daily allowance of £40 a day (night out and meal tax-free allowance) for UK events
