About this role

Sunbelt Rentals is looking for a Class 1 Driver to safely deliver and pick up equipment, tools, and supplies from customer worksites. You will operate a flatbed or roll-back truck in urban, suburban, and rural environments, including tight construction zones.

In this role, you will deliver and recover rental equipment while towing generators up to 20,000 lbs and operating cranes with training provided. You will also provide basic equipment demonstrations at job sites and perform minor troubleshooting and repairs on equipment and vehicles.

Requirements

Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence with acceptable driving record
Experience with commercial equipment or heavy haul preferred
Experience with crane trucks or towing considered an asset
Strong safety mindset and customer-focused attitude
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions

Responsibilities

Deliver and recover rental equipment using a Class 1 vehicle (flatbed or roll-back)
Drive in tight jobsite environments including construction, commercial, and events
Tow generators up to 20,000 lbs (experience preferred)
Operate cranes with training provided
Provide basic equipment demonstrations at job sites
Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs on equipment and vehicles
Deliver excellent customer service at each stop
