HGV Driver - Class 2

Marshalls, a market leader in natural stone and concrete landscaping products and a FTSE 250 Superbrand, is recruiting a Class 2 Driver to join our Gateshead site. You will drive 4-axle 32t rigid trucks including POD, Auger Tipper, and Mixer vehicles, all with automatic gearboxes. This role offers a chance to become a pivotal part of Marshalls Mortars and Screeds, delivering top UK products with first-class service.

As the first face-to-face contact for our customers, you will deliver mortar to building sites in the local area. You will operate both multi-compartment Pod and Mixer vehicles, maintaining and cleaning them daily to uphold the company’s professional image. A positive 'can do' attitude and excellent customer service skills are essential.

You will work to a high level of health and safety, staying calm and professional when challenges arise. Being punctual and an early riser is crucial to ensuring on-time deliveries. The role requires flexibility during the day and working alternative Saturdays, as the industry is growing, with overtime paid on Saturdays.
