We are seeking a Raw Material Procurement Manager for the First Quality Home Care Products facility in Salt Lake City.

The Raw Material Procurement Manager develops and executes category strategies that optimize total delivered cost, ensure supply continuity, and drive innovation across critical raw material categories. This role leads strategic supplier partnerships, complex negotiations, and risk mitigation initiatives. The position partners cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Product Development to drive operational excellence across multi-site manufacturing operations.

Day-to-day work includes monitoring commodity markets, translating insights into pricing strategy, and leading structured risk assessments. The manager builds strategic supplier partnerships, establishes performance scorecards, and leads cross-functional responses to supply disruptions. Close collaboration with Planning and Plant teams ensures uninterrupted raw material supply aligned with production forecasts.

Requirements

  • Experience developing and executing raw material category strategies for multi-site manufacturing operations.
  • Proven ability to lead complex commercial negotiations and structure supply agreements.
  • Strong background monitoring commodity markets and implementing proactive risk mitigation plans.
  • Track record building strategic supplier partnerships and managing performance scorecards.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Product Development teams.
  • Knowledge of GMP, FDA, ISO, and regulatory compliance requirements in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive raw material category strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
  • Drive total delivered cost optimization across material, logistics, duties, and related cost elements.
  • Monitor commodity markets and translate insights into pricing strategy and proactive risk mitigation plans.
  • Lead structured risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure supply continuity.
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships that support cost competitiveness, quality, service, and innovation.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations including pricing, contracts, and long-term supply agreements.
  • Partner closely with Planning, Operations, and Plant teams to ensure uninterrupted raw material supply.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO, and internal quality and regulatory standards.
