About this role

Under general direction, plan and control production and warehousing activities and inventory investment of the branch plant. Provide analysis, counsel, and recommendations to assist plant in achieving goals and objectives. This role oversees key supply chain functions to optimize efficiency and meet divisional policies.

Analyze customer orders and sales forecasts to prepare plant production and inventory plans. Review actual performance against plans and recommend corrective actions to align results. Direct production control to maintain balanced inventories and meet investment objectives. Monitor capacity and assist in developing computerized systems for data integrity.

Direct activities for Shipping, Warehousing, Production Scheduling, and Inventory Control of raw materials and finished goods. Maintain vendor contacts to ensure uninterrupted supply and resolve quality discrepancies. Serve as CMS Principle Champion for Material Control. Supervise warehouse operations to comply with safety regulations and personnel policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical, or business field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience successfully supervising a team.
  • SAP experience (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (preferred).
  • CPIM certification (preferred).
  • Demonstrable knowledge of MRP master data set-up, production versions, routings, warehouse management, inventory management, production activities, and RF transactions (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Direct and monitor production control activities to maintain balanced inventories and meet production/inventory objectives.
  • Plan and direct Shipping, Warehousing, Production Scheduling, and Inventory Control activities.
  • Maintain vendor contacts to ensure uninterrupted supply and resolve quality discrepancies.
  • Prepare capacity planning analyses and recommend purchase of additional capacity.
  • Direct warehousing activities to ensure adherence to safety regulations and personnel policies.
