About this role

Aviation aims to be the fuel and services partner of choice for customers. The team is transforming to become more customer centric, higher performing, and play a key role in bp's net zero ambition. This role supports delivery of the Supply & Logistics agenda in the region, accountable for logistics operations across over 40 airports.

Manage secondary transport logistics to ensure efficient costs and HSSE triple zero targets. Plan RTC delivery flow and scheduling based on airports' and customers' needs. Guide logistics partners on tools, performance indicators, and safety rules while monitoring KPIs like OTIF and costs via Power BI dashboards.

Actively manage communication with onsite operations and air bp branded resellers to control inventory levels within tolerance. Ensure compliance with loading and unloading planning, follow up on deliveries, and proactively avoid delays. Works closely with stakeholders, commercial team, and Finance for invoicing and payments.

Support coordination of emergency responses for supply and storage issues by identifying risks and suggesting alternatives. Participate in HSSE meetings and execute supply logistics for reliability at all airports. Aid negotiations on RTC contracts, including freight processes and SLA analysis.

Drive process improvements in logistics efficiency to optimize flows and reduce operational risks. Support ad hoc projects with the commercial team. Contribute to regional supply chain reliability and bp's broader transformation goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in Aviation Industry (preferable) and the Logistics Industry
  • Strong data interpretation and analytical capability
  • Strong understanding of regional supply chains, logistics and airfield services
  • Demonstrated sense of personal accountability and team working skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Action-oriented and decisive when managing a crisis
  • Proven ability to problem solve under pressure
  • English language, Intermediate

Responsibilities

  • Manage secondary transport logistics across the region ensuring efficient costs and HSSE triple zero target
  • Plan RTC delivery flow and scheduling based on airports’ and customers’ needs
  • Guide and train logistics partners on scheduling and invoicing tools, performance indicators and safety rules
  • Structure and report KPIs such as OTIF, lead time, service level and logistics costs through Power BI dashboards
  • Act in logistics efficiency projects aiming at optimizing flows and reducing operational risks
  • Ensure RTC invoices and transport tolls invoices are correctly issued and coordinate with Finance for payment
  • Actively manage communication with onsite operations and air bp resellers, control inventory levels
  • Support coordination of emergency responses associated with supply/storage issues and RTC contract negotiations
