About this role

We are seeking an experienced Inbound Logistics Manager with strong expertise in 3PL management, international freight, and customs. You will be a confident, pace-driven decision-maker who anticipates challenges, solves problems, and keeps product moving across our global supply chain.

Day-to-day, you will oversee end-to-end inbound shipments to international hubs, proactively managing performance, risks, and delivery exceptions. You will maintain and develop strong relationships with carriers, freight partners, and customs brokers, holding them accountable to KPIs and SLAs while driving continuous improvement.

This role is based at our Paddington Support Office with a hybrid arrangement (minimum three days in-office weekly). You will collaborate across a global network, influencing sourcing offices and suppliers, and occasional overseas travel within the UK or internationally will be required.

With a data-led mindset, you will use tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI to turn insight into action. You will own routing strategy, freight optimisation, and cost control, leading reviews and supporting tender activity to drive efficiency across inbound logistics.

Requirements

  • Clear understanding of international freight and customs procedures.
  • Confident, pace-driven decision-making ability.
  • Engaging collaborator who can influence across a global network.
  • Data-led mindset with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Experience managing carrier relationships and holding partners accountable to KPIs and SLAs.
  • Knowledge of customs compliance and import standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with carriers, freight and customs partners, holding them accountable to KPIs, SLAs, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure customs compliance and import standards are met across the network, working closely with sourcing offices and suppliers to drive accurate and timely shipping.
  • Partner with 3PL and internal teams to align inbound volumes, capacity, and intake, supported by clear KPI reporting and performance management.
  • Own routing strategy, freight optimisation, and cost control while leading reviews, supporting tender activity, and driving continuous improvement across inbound logistics processes.

Benefits

  • Hybrid working model (minimum three days per week at Paddington Support Office).
  • Occasional overseas travel within the UK or internationally.
  • Opportunity to lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive inbound logistics strategy.
