About this role

The Logistics Analyst I is responsible for supporting logistics operational excellence and solutions that reduce transport costs for Plexus' manufacturing sites. This role actively participates in logistics initiatives ensuring efficient product movement both internationally and domestically.

Day-to-day, the analyst analyzes transport activities to drive operational changes, including managing routing guide compliance, minimizing premium freight usage, and optimizing mode selection. They coordinate with suppliers and logistics service providers to track and expedite shipments for on-time fulfillment.

Working alongside Regional and Site stakeholders, the analyst supports the creation and reconciliation of accurate material overhead (MOH) models for new and existing customers. They also develop KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to monitor performance and foster continuous improvement in inbound and outbound material flow.

This position offers involvement in Customs & Trade Management and ESG activities, providing exposure to international logistics compliance. The role is based in a professional office environment with less than 40% travel, focusing on analytical and strategic tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 1 or more years of related experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Work schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Ability to work in a professional office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
  • Less than 40% travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze transport activities to drive operational changes that reduce transport costs, including managing routing guide compliance, minimizing premium freight usage, and optimizing mode and routing selection.
  • Support Regional and Site stakeholders by coordinating with suppliers and logistics service providers to track and expedite shipments for on-time fulfillment.
  • Support the creation and reconciliation of accurate material overhead (MOH) models for new and existing customers.
  • Develop and deliver metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate in developing plans for continuous improvement of inbound and outbound material flow between service providers and stakeholders.
  • Perform administrative duties necessary to support daily operations and transport compliance.
  • Support Customs & Trade Management and ESG activities as needed.
