About this role

Medtronic seeks a results-driven Logistics Analyst experienced in managing inbound shipments within Control Tower environments and international transportation networks. The role focuses on coordinating end-to-end supply chain operations for shipments originating in the United States and Europe, ensuring timely and compliant delivery into LATAM and Canada.

Daily work involves carrier management, milestone tracking, exception handling, and proactive communication with vendors, freight forwarders, trade teams, and regional distribution partners. Strong analytical skills support identification of operational risks, optimization of transit times, and improvement of service levels across complex multi-leg routes.

The position requires leveraging SAP and Power BI to track performance metrics, generate actionable insights, and enable data-driven decisions. English proficiency is essential for coordination across global teams and external partners in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

Attention to detail, problem-solving, and a continuous improvement mindset aligned with Lean principles support compliance with international trade regulations and documentation requirements. The role offers opportunities to build relationships while integrating market intelligence to strengthen competitive positioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory
  • Experience working with Excel and SAP
  • Experience working with Power BI preferred
  • Process improvement experience in a regulated environment preferred
  • Strong analytical capabilities for performance tracking and data-driven decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Control the flow of raw and finished goods, services, and information from point of origin through receipt at the manufacturing site to customer placement.
  • Ensure execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes including replenishment systems, data interchange, demand management, and electronic data systems administration.
  • Achieve customer service and time objectives within existing financial constraints to meet marketing and financial goals.
  • Build relationships with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers through resolution of delivery issues.
  • Integrate market intelligence from operating entities, distribution, transportation, suppliers, and customers to improve competitive position.
  • Manage inbound shipments in Control Tower environments, coordinating with international transportation companies across US, Europe, LATAM, and Canada routes.
  • Track milestones, handle exceptions, and maintain proactive communication with cross-functional stakeholders including vendors and freight forwarders.
