About this role

This person will work as branch support by coordinating the movement of parts, materials, and equipment between vendors, warehouses, and job sites. They will assist with inventory control, monitor incoming purchase orders, organize stock, and ensure technicians have the necessary materials to complete scheduled work.

Day-to-day tasks include sorting and organizing incoming parts orders, picking up and delivering materials to job sites, and controlling parts inventory to minimize out-of-stocks. The role also involves processing parts sales orders, coordinating product returns, and attending pre-con meetings to discuss project needs.

This position operates in a warehouse environment that can be hot, cold, dusty, and/or loud. Successful candidates must communicate openly with the branch team and demonstrate reliability in a physically demanding role that requires lifting up to 50 pounds, operating a forklift, standing for extended periods, and walking across the warehouse without stopping.

By ensuring technicians and projects have the right parts at the right time, this role is critical to branch operations. It offers the chance to develop deep knowledge of parts logistics and inventory systems, serving as a key link between warehouse and field operations in the specialized fueling technology industry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two years of previous experience in a warehouse parts setting preferred.
  • Clean driving record and clean safety record required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Multitasking and task prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate verbally with leadership and branch team members.

Responsibilities

  • Sort and organize incoming parts orders from vendors or as they come off technician trucks.
  • Pick up and deliver parts, materials, and equipment to job sites.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering materials.
  • Control parts inventory to correct level to ensure minimum out-of-stocks on key service replacement parts.
  • Process and fulfill parts sales orders submitted by internal parts sellers accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate all product returns.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts.
  • Attend all internal pre-con meetings to discuss projects needs as they relate to parts, equipment, and materials requirement, as well as required delivery schedules.
