About this role

As a Junior Supply Chain Coordinator, you play a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly by delivering the right products at the right time and in the right quality. You work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with procurement, production, warehouse, and quality teams to keep operations running seamlessly.

You monitor inventory levels to align with demand and act as the main point of contact for suppliers, resolving delivery issues throughout the week. This keeps production supplied on time and in full while minimizing disruptions to customers.

You identify and resolve operational deviations such as OTIF issues, monitor product quality details including BBD and shortages, and take action to reduce waste. Cross-functional collaboration with procurement, warehouse, production, product, and FSQA teams ensures smooth execution every day.

You analyze root causes of recurring issues, track supplier performance with data insights, and implement improvements that drive continuous progress. A proactive mindset and ownership help you contribute to longer-term operational enhancements in this dynamic setting.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or a production environment (food industry is a plus)
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset with enjoyment in tackling challenges and finding practical solutions
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data such as Excel, ERP/WMS systems, or similar tools
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English with confidence working with multiple stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement mindset and a natural sense of ownership

Responsibilities

  • Ensure production is supplied on time and in full by monitoring inventory levels and aligning with demand
  • Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, resolving delivery issues and managing communication throughout the week
  • Identify and resolve operational deviations such as OTIF issues, minimizing impact on customers and production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as procurement, warehouse, production, product, and FSQA to ensure alignment
  • Monitor product quality and delivery details including BBD, shortages, and oversupply, taking action to reduce waste
  • Analyze root causes of recurring issues and implement improvements to prevent future disruptions
  • Track and report on supplier performance, using data and insights to drive continuous improvement
