About this role
We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our Norfolk team. This role works directly with the Director of Supply Chain to oversee the order management process and assist with other supply chain projects. Experience is preferred but not required.
The Supply Chain Analyst will oversee the internal order management process and track daily order status with warehouse personnel and field operations. Responsibilities include monitoring internal inventory for accuracy and assisting with purchasing supplies and supplier management. Additional duties involve standardizing workflow processes in ERP and business software.
This full-time position is based in downtown Norfolk, VA, with occasional travel to the Wakefield, VA warehouse using a company floater vehicle. A company cell phone and laptop will be provided. The role reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain.
Opportunities include developing reports for the Operations Leadership team and implementing AI-powered automation solutions to streamline routine transactional tasks. The position supports effective communication and organization in a dynamic supply chain environment. Growth potential exists through hands-on supply chain projects and technology integration.
Requirements
- Supply chain experience required, specifically order management process, inventory management, WMS/ERP processes, financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, business software, ERP (NetSuite), WMS
- Experience leveraging AI-powered automation tools and generative AI preferred
- Effective communicator and organized in nature
- Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain related field
