About this role
The core of this role is to deploy the Category Procurement Strategy for Supply Chain services across the NAM Area, optimizing total cost of ownership while ensuring supply continuity and improving service levels. This position manages the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including supplier scouting, qualification, and performance management.
Day-to-day responsibilities involve executing competitive sourcing events such as RFPs and RFQs to maintain market competitiveness. The manager negotiates commercial terms and service agreements, establishes framework agreements, and monitors supplier performance against key KPIs to drive corrective actions.
Working within a cross-functional environment, the role requires proactive engagement with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams. The manager translates operational needs into effective sourcing strategies and supports decision-making with data-driven insights and market intelligence.
This position also contributes to the development of mid- to long-term category roadmaps that support business growth and network optimization. The role fosters strong supplier relationships aligned with company ethics and drives continuous improvement across logistics procurement.
Requirements
- 3+ years in Procurement, with strong exposure to Transportation, Customs brokers and Freight Forwarders, and Warehousing/3PL services.
- Proven experience managing suppliers and conducting negotiations.
- Experience operating in the North American logistics market.
- Experience working in cross-functional supply chain environments.
- Master of Microsoft Excel (advanced proficiency).
Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle including supplier scouting, qualification, and performance management.
- Execute competitive sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs) and negotiate commercial terms and service agreements.
- Build and maintain a high-performing supplier base with structured relationships and service level adherence.
- Act as key interface between Procurement and Supply Chain, proactively managing internal stakeholders.
- Own contract lifecycle including negotiation, implementation, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Lead cost optimization initiatives and contribute to cross-functional projects like transport optimization and network evolution.
