About this role
The Manager, Supply Chain Planning & Control oversees product inbound and storage management across the warehouse network. This role ensures inventory levels and accuracy support uninterrupted material flow to meet customer requirements. Responsibilities cover purchase planning, inventory control, and materials reporting from system setup through steady-state availability.
Day-to-day work includes placing purchase orders with manufacturers and coordinating inbound deliveries for on-time stocking. The position manages replenishment activities through the Manufacturing Resource Planning process while monitoring stock levels to optimize storage and handling costs. Product flow is tracked from order placement to warehouse booking into available inventory.
Collaboration occurs with internal teams and suppliers to maintain positive relationships and resolve performance or discrepancy issues. The role reviews forecasts, manages product requirements, and uses customer flight schedules along with Bill of Materials data to determine quantities. Systems such as Ross, LOGIC, i3PL, ePix, and Forecaster support daily operations and reporting.
This position manages the Analyst, Supply Chain Planning & Control and establishes goals to ensure processes deliver stock in the right quantities, place, and time. Oversight of physical inventories and distribution constraints supports cost control and accurate materials reporting across the network.
Requirements
- Experience managing day-to-day replenishment from purchase order placement to warehouse stocking
- Proficiency with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) processes and inventory control methods
- Ability to manage product requirements using forecasts, ordering parameters, and distribution constraints
- Working knowledge of systems including Ross, LOGIC, i3PL, ePix, and Forecaster
- Skill in reviewing and reporting key account and supplier forecasts
- Experience ensuring products are purchased in accordance with calculated forecasts and customer requirements
Responsibilities

- Creates and maintains accurate purchase orders and call offs through the Manufacturing Resource Planning process
- Identifies possible stock out situations and develops action plans to maintain network stock levels
- Manages stock levels in the warehouse to optimize storage and handling cost requirements
- Maintains positive relationships with suppliers and resolves issues regarding performance or damage claims
- Uses customer flight schedules and Bill of Materials to determine quantities of required products
- Oversees accuracy of information received from forecasts, warehousing, and physical inventories
