We are seeking an Operating Room Supply Chain Coordinator to assist with monitoring inventory levels and ensuring availability of critical items while minimizing waste, overstock, and expired products.

In this role, you will maintain inventory levels using manual and automated methods, maintaining minimum and maximum levels for each stock item. You will coordinate with approved vendors to ensure timely ordering and delivery of supplies, maintain positive vendor relationships, and resolve issues related to quality, service, supply backorders, and delivery delays.

You will work closely with nursing, surgical services, and ancillary departments to anticipate supply needs, support patient care workflows, and respond to urgent requests or disruptions. The position also involves assisting with Joint Commission compliance coordination, including hallway compliance, storage area compliance, and access area compliance.

Requirements

Two (2) years of experience in healthcare
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications
Experience and knowledge of materials management/supply chain software systems
Working knowledge of perpetual and PAR inventory processes
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and push/pull up to 40 lbs
Detail oriented, alert, and self-motivated with ability to work independently

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory levels using manual and automated methods, maintaining minimum and maximum levels for each stock item
Assist with regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories in coordination with clinical and support departments
Coordinate with approved vendors to ensure timely ordering and delivery of supplies
Maintain positive vendor relationships and resolve issues related to quality, service, supply backorders, and delivery delays
Work with nursing, surgical services, and ancillary departments to anticipate supply needs and support patient care workflows
Assist with supply orders, monitoring par and Kanban levels, special non-stock orders, and validation of deliveries
Assist with Joint Commission compliance coordination including hallway, storage area, and access area compliance
Assist in supply chain data collection, management, reporting, and analysis
