About this role

You sit at the centre of Asahi's major customer supply chains, shaping how product moves from our network into some of our most important customers. Each day, you partner with national account teams, logistics functions and customer stakeholders to keep service levels high while protecting profitability.

You identify and land smarter, more efficient ways of working across the supply chain, turning complexity into consistency. This role combines customer partnership, operational decision‑making and people management, with direct exposure to major national customers and their supply chain operations.

You influence process optimisation and standardisation across a complex, multi‑state logistics network. You lead your team to deliver consistent service excellence while building a performance‑driven culture, and enable national sales teams by sharing supply chain expertise.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating within FMCG, retail or beverage supply chains, with strong exposure to logistics and customer‑facing environments.
  • Strong understanding of Australian warehousing and distribution networks, including Chain of Responsibility obligations and ATO under‑bond requirements.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen across logistics cost drivers, supported by data‑led analysis and informed decision‑making.
  • Ability to influence and build trust with major customers and internal stakeholders through clear, confident communication.
  • Capability to lead and align teams, facilitating cohesive outcomes and lifting service performance in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with major customers and internal stakeholders to influence supply chain decisions that improve service outcomes and commercial performance.
  • Optimise end‑to‑end supply chain processes by driving standardisation and improvement initiatives across the network.
  • Translate customer feedback into clear operational actions by monitoring KPIs and feeding insights into business and account strategy.
  • Lead your team to deliver consistent service excellence while building a performance‑driven culture.
  • Enable national sales teams by sharing supply chain expertise and supporting cross‑functional project management across states and businesses.
