About this role

This Logistics Analyst Principal position supports Worldwide Field Support by managing all phases of provisioning, spares, maintenance, and repair activities. You will be a key contributor to challenging projects within GDIT's logistics team.

Daily responsibilities include demand forecasting, material procurement, production planning, and inventory management. You will coordinate procurement from RFQ through closeout, process receiving inspection reports, and maintain accurate reporting in the system of record. This ensures standardization and data accuracy.

You will collaborate with the Strategic Acquisition Office and internal PMO functions, participating in daily syncs, weekly procurement meetings, and monthly logistics reviews. The role requires effective communication with government stakeholders and working under pressure in a fast-paced hybrid environment. Professional and courteous interaction across in-person and electronic channels is essential.

This position offers the chance to develop integrated processes, provide training and guidance, and identify improvements across logistics lifecycle issues. Your expertise will help ensure proper accountability of Government Furnished Equipment and Contract Acquired Property. You will also produce required government deliverable reports and maintain metrics.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant logistics or supply chain experience.
  • Proficiency with PIEE and associated property accountability modules.
  • Knowledge of trade compliance practices and familiarity with military logistics systems (CHESS, FEDMall, PubLog, IGC, AESIP).
  • Understanding of the Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Program.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication with government and internal stakeholders.

  • Conduct data collection, spot checks, and assessments to identify process improvements.
  • Prepare and present written proposals and recommended solutions to customers and management.
