
About this role
Bowhead seeks a Logistics Analyst to support the Product Manager Engineer, Maintenance, and Support Equipment (PdM) NMESIS Support Services contract in Stafford, VA. This role involves analyzing complex contractual documents, technical data, and engineering change proposals to determine spares provisioning and maintenance requirements.
Day-to-day activities include supporting equipment fielding and logistics publications, performing Publication Validation/Verification, and providing IUID and PCA reports. The analyst also drafts and updates program acquisition documentation such as Lifecycle Sustainment Plans, Fielding Plans, and Naval Messages for government review and acceptance.
The position operates within a highly complex program environment, requiring coordination with government review and acceptance. The analyst may provide work leadership for other employees and is considered a resource for resolving unique or complex problems, including analyzing and improving processes for multiple projects.
This role offers the chance to work on ACAT I - III programs and develop expertise in logistics systems like WAWF, L-DART-II, and GCSS-MC. Candidates with DAWIA certification in life cycle logistics or program management are desired, and the position supports professional growth in defense logistics through logistics plans and inventory analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in logistics or related field.
- Experience supporting ACAT I - III programs.
- DAWIA certification in life cycle logistics or program management desired.
- Experience with logistics systems such as WAWF, L-DART-II, ELMS, PIEE, TFSMS, GCSS-MC, and TLCM-OST.
- Experience with equipment inventory, distribution, and accounting.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required.
Responsibilities

- Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to achieve desired delivery times.
- Develop and improve processes and direction for projects; provide work leadership for other employees.
