About this role

GDIT’s Summer Internship Program offers a 10-week opportunity for Logistics Analyst Associate Interns to perform government property administration and accounting duties. Interns maintain inventory of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment using established practices. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

A typical day involves adhering to inventory control and distribution procedures while maintaining accurate receipts and invoices. Interns handle clerical and manual duties in receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering materials. They stock vendor deliveries, verify conformance to purchase orders, and review procurement activities for projections and scheduling.

Interns work side-by-side with GDIT professionals on client projects and collaborate with peers to research business challenges. They participate in a mentoring circle led by an early career champion and interact with GDIT leaders. The program emphasizes a collaborative team environment supporting complex government and defense projects.
