About this role

Are you passionate about supply chain and logistics in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment? This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to structure and transform complex logistics operations within a fast-growing industrial organization.

As Senior Logistics Manager, you will act as a strategic and operational partner to the Head of Supply Chain, with full accountability over end-to-end logistics performance. You will ensure full control, reliability, and continuous improvement of all logistics flows, from inbound to final delivery to customers.

You will lead, structure, and develop logistics teams across warehouse, inbound, and outbound operations, driving a strong leadership culture close to the field. Your deep understanding of pharmaceutical logistics constraints—including GMP, quality, and traceability—will be essential to maintaining compliance and operational excellence.

This role offers the chance to drive major logistics transformation projects, redesign and optimize processes, and define CAPEX needs to support investment decisions. You will also champion Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data, KPIs, and technological solutions to enhance performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment (mandatory)
  • Strong experience in warehouse operations (inbound, storage, outbound)
  • Demonstrated experience managing large teams in an industrial environment
  • Proven track record in leading complex logistics projects (e.g., warehouse setup/expansion, SAP or ERP implementation, flow optimization/transformation)
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end logistics flows in pharma, including GMP, quality, and traceability constraints

Responsibilities

  • Lead, structure, and develop logistics teams (warehouse, inbound, outbound) to ensure performance, engagement, and accountability
  • Drive a strong leadership culture on the field, close to operations, and act as a senior reference point for operational decision-making
  • Ensure efficient and GMP-compliant management of inbound, warehousing, and outbound flows, guaranteeing material availability from reception to delivery
  • Define and implement logistics strategies for the short, medium, and long term, and drive warehouse operations performance (capacity, flows, stock accuracy, lead-times)
  • Lead major logistics transformation projects, redesign and optimize logistics processes, and define CAPEX needs to support investment decisions
  • Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring strict compliance with GMP, EHS, and quality/traceability requirements
  • Act as a key interface with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and external partners, promoting logistics best practices across the organization

Benefits

  • Opportunity to shape and transform logistics operations in a fast-growing pharmaceutical environment
  • Senior leadership role with strategic influence and operational ownership
  • Lead major transformation projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and external partners
